Well, today was the first day of school for my brothers. What a great day they had! It was so fun to know that they spent all day today in a new environment, making new friends, and getting to know their new teachers. Tyler is now a freshman in High School at Bonanza. Can you believe it?! I can't. Yet alone, that I'll have been out of high school for my second year this year. Wow time-slow down! Anyways, he had a new teacher that was great, mom brought donuts in for the class as a treat for Tyler's belated birthday. mmm. He rode the bus to and from and came home with a butt load of homework. But, I guess...I did have more! So he's one lucky boy! Matthew started 3rd grade today and thought she was okay. He didn't misbehave at all until story time. Him being a class clown...he claims it was accidental, was blowing air on his arm-and we all know what sound that makes...a fart. So the whole class heard it and went, "EEEEWWWW!!" Matthew got a hit out of that. Needless to say, he too came home with tons of homework. But both of them were troopers about it and had it done in roughly an hour and a half. I guess you could say that I had my first day too! I signed up for my English 115 class through Provo that i'm doing for independent study. Nervous...but excited. Anyways, we finished the night up with some Chili's for dinner-requested by Matthew and headed home to shower and go to bed. Night world :)
President Gordon B. Hinckley said:
"Today many sisters are being called to serve. Many more are preparing to serve. Not because they aren't married or don't have anything else to do, but they have the desire to serve. One reason that the Lord wants more sisters to serve is because within the next generation He will send His priesthood army to the earth. He wants to send choice spirit children to mothers who have been prepared, properly trained, and taught in the gospel. What better schooling can a mother have than to experience and grow as she serves a mission." --Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley
